The library offers a wide variety of services for customers beyond loaning books, audiobooks, and DVDs.
Public Computers
Our public computers have access to the Internet and the full Microsoft Office Suite. Anyone with a LIBRARY NETWORK library card may sign in to a public computer for an hour session. Sessions may be extended when demand is not high. Users without a library card may ask for a guest pass for a 30 minute express session.
Wi-Fi
We offer free wireless Internet access to all customers with a wireless capable laptop or mobile device. The library’s SSID is LIBRARY.
Printing
Users of our public computers are able to print documents in the library in either Black and White ($0.10 per page) or Color ($0.25 per page). Customers connecting their laptop computers can also print in the library using our print service. Doing so requires installing a basic application to your computer. Copying/Scanning
Our public copy machine can make copies in color or black and white and can also make double sided copies. The cost is $0.15 per printed side for black and white copies and $0.30 per printed side for color copies. Our copier can also scan images to an E-mail address or USB flash drive (bring your own or purchase from the library). Please ask for staff assistance if you have any questions.
Read/Listen - 24/7
The library offers many subscription databases, ebooks, and downloadable audiobooks available to Commerce cardholders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will need to provide your library card number to access these services.
Get In Line - Automatic Holds Service
Do you want to get automatically put on the waiting list for your favorite, popular authors? If the answer is YES, you want to sign up for our Get In Line service. When authors you have selected publish new books, we'll put your name on the list and notify you when your title is available. This service is for Commerce Township residents only.

We offer free test proctoring. If you are in need of this service, please contact Adult Services at 248-669-8108 ext. 108 to schedule an appointment with Marika Zemke.
ESL - English as a Second Language
The Commerce Township Community Library offers a wide range of materials to help English language learners including books,
