National Novel Writing Month
November is National Novel Writing Month - a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On November 1st, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel in just one month! Writers of all levels are welcome to earn prizes simply by writing! Prizes will be awarded at word count milestones (10,000 – 20,000 – 30,000 – 40,000 – 50,000 words) and a grand prize will be raffled off after November 30.
Registration begins October 15th

Come Write In Come Write In

Need a quiet space to get the creative juices flowing while you work on your novel? Come Write In the library! We will have the Dodge room reserved on November 5th, 13th, 19th, and 29th from 6pm to 8pm so you can sit and work with fellow writers. Or if you’d prefer a more private space, feel free to use any of our study rooms or tables within the library (first come, first served).
