Contributions of the Friends

The Friends have been very busy since we first started in September 2007. To date, we have raised over $40,000 primarily from book sales and memberships. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO READ MORE.

ABOUT FRIEND'S NIGHT

The most frequently asked question regarding our used book sales is whether we have a preview sale.  We do have a “Friend’s Night”.  However, this is a “by invitation only” event for Friends members and we do not sell memberships at the door.  This was established so that our members, who live in this community and support the Library and the efforts of the Friends, would have the benefit of first choice before the sale is open to the public.

Library Tote Bags

The Friends of Commerce Library are selling Tote / Book bags for $10.00. These bags are made of Heavy-weight 600 denier Polyester Nylon and measure 19 inches across and 12 inches high. The tote bags are white with black shoulder length handles and have an outside pocket with the Friends imprinted logo.

The tote bags are sized to afford easy access, hold a good amount of reading material and make an excellent gift.
