Battle the Winter Blues at the LIGHTbrary!

Woman using a light therapy lamp

Come for some relaxing activities and try our bright light therapy lamp! Light therapy is one way to battle Seasonal Affective Disorder and the winter blues. However, bright light therapy lamps can be cost prohibitive. Now you can access one for FREE at the library, and do some other activities that are designed to help you relax, reduce stress, and hopefully leave the library in a better mood.

Our therapy lamp will have a seasonally permanent place at one of our study tables in the library, so you can come use it at any time! If you have any questions about light therapy, please view the resources below, ask for one of our handouts at the Adult Reference Desk, and consult with your doctor.
